FTCC’s Community News Fellows project, led by English instructor Joshua James, is an innovative, grant-funded initiative dedicated to understanding how Cumberland County residents access and engage with local news. Through surveys and a series of community listening sessions, this project invites residents to share their experiences and expectations around local news and information sources. By gathering these valuable insights, the project aims to strengthen community connections and enhance local news accessibility.

The Community News Fellows project is proudly supported by a grant from NEO Philanthropy in partnership with the Cumberland Community Foundation. Stay tuned for the full project report—coming soon!
