FTCC is holding the first of two vaccine clinics on its Fayetteville campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

The clinic will provide the first dose of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine. The second shot will be offered in a follow-up clinic on the FTCC campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

FTCC is offering payments of up to $100 to each current FTCC employee and each currently registered FTCC student (summer or fall 2021) who gets vaccinated at these clinics. These participants will get $50 at the time of each vaccination shot. Their names will also be entered into drawings for later monetary prizes.

FTCC also plans monetary prize drawings for fully vaccinated employees who have voluntarily shared that status with the College. The dates of the monetary prize drawings have not yet been set.

If you have not begun the COVID-19 vaccination process, FTCC strongly encourages you to consider taking this important step to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues, and your community. Infections and hospitalizations are rising as a result of the dangerous Delta variant of the virus. Fully vaccinated people may still contract and spread the virus, but health officials say the vaccine usually minimizes the effects of the virus in vaccinated individuals and protects most against severe illness and death.

FTCC’s vaccine clinic will be held inside the Nursing Education and Simulation Center at 2340 Hull Road (the former Early Childhood Education Center). Entrance to the clinic will be through the back of the building adjacent to Parking Lot #4.

Appointments are no longer needed. Walk-ins are welcome.

FTCC employees should bring their FTCC ID card with them.

Members of the general public are welcome to participate in the clinic but will not be eligible for the monetary payments.
