Fayetteville Technical Community College has moved registration operations for its Corporate and Continuing Education programs to Room 134 of the Tony Rand Student Center.

The move consolidates registration operations in one building for both the degree programs and the workforce credential programs (CCE) that are offered by the College.

Previously, the CCE registration office was in the Neill Currie building. That building recently closed for several months of renovation with most of its operations being temporarily relocated in other FTCC buildings. But the move of the CCE registration office is permanent, aimed at simplifying matters for students who want to or must register for classes in person. Curriculum registration is already located in the Student Center.

“We want to make it easier for students to register,” said Dr. Murtis Worth, FTCC’s Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Services. “Until now, many students have come to the Tony Rand building looking to register for a workforce class and were told they had to go to another location on campus that’s more than a quarter of a mile away.  Creating a centralized registration process is an example of improvements we are making to enhance the student journey to success.”

Signs outside Neill Currie will redirect students who may go there first.
