How to Develop A Club
- Meet with the Student Activities Office to discuss how to hold an Interest Meeting.
- (10) current students must petition that they will participate from the current semester and remain active in recruiting future members.
- Determine who will be your Executive Officers
- (1) Faculty/Staff Advisor must commit they will oversee the club (some need Deans/Supervisors Approval)
- Design a Bylaw or Constitution for your new club to operate by.
- Develop a Mission Statement
- All completed documents will be returned to the Director of Student Activities by emailing them to plessh@faytechcc.edu
- All documents will be sent to the Vice President of Legal and Administrative Services for review.
- After, the Vice President of the college must review and approve
- Once all approvals are completed, you can hold your first meetings as an official club.

National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)
The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter was started in 2014 and has 2,7811 members. We are a part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members. Eligible students at FTCC are Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors with a 3.0+ GPA. Lifetime membership includes a one-time fee of $95, paid at registration at nsls.org. Members have access to nearly $500,000 in scholarships, an exclusive NSLS job board, a personalized letter of recommendation, and who learn from exceptional leaders like former President Barack Obama during exclusive Speaker Broadcasts. |

National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) The National Technical Honor Society is an educational non-profit that exists to honor, recognize, and empower students and teachers in Career & Technical Education. As the honor society for Career & Technical Education, NTHS serves over 100,000 active members annually in both secondary and postsecondary chapters across the country. Since its founding in 1984, nearly 1.2 million students have become NTHS alumni. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides over $300,000 in scholarships annually, and strives to help connect education and industry to build a highly skilled workforce. |
