How do I get started?
Steps to Apply
-
- Download and complete your Application for High School Connections!
To start your High School Connections journey, complete the appropriate application according to your grade level. There are two applications available: one for Freshmen and Sophomore students and one for Junior and Senior students. As you proceed, you may find it helpful to view our High School Connections Glossary.
- Download and complete your Enrollment Form for High School Connections for your desired Pathway!
Speak to your school’s High School Counselor and assigned Career Coach for assistance in selecting a Pathway. Pathways are clusters of courses focused on similar industries or degree areas. Pathways are differentiated into two main groups: College Transfer Pathways (CTP) and Career & Technical Education (CTE).
- Sign & return your paperwork!
Once you and your parent/guardian have signed both the application and the enrollment form, submit both documents to your high school counselor. Homeschool students will return documents to the High School Connections Office located in room 110 of the Tony Rand Student Center on the Main Campus of Fayetteville Technical Community College.
- Submit your transcript/test scores
A copy of your most recent transcript with your unweighted GPA is required. Cumberland County Schools will provide transcripts for all CCS students. Private school students should contact their school counselor. Homeschool students will need to also include their homeschool registration. If your GPA is below 2.8, please also send us any testing you have taken (SAT, ACT, etc.). Accepted Test Scores can be found on our eligibility page.
