FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville Tech volleyball team improved to 2-0 with a straight-set win over Pitt CC (2-2, 0-2) in the Trojans’ season home debut Friday.

The Trojans won by set scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-13, grabbing a win against their first East Division opponent of the season.

Freshman middle Morgan Brady led the attack, recording 11 kills on 14 attempts to post a .714 hitting percentage. Sophomore right side Lauren Adams added 10 kills.

Adams and fellow sophomore Kristen Woods led the team with nine digs apiece, and Sonjai Guiles tallied three block assists.

Sophomore setter Jacqueline Woosley recorded 25 assists.

The Trojans will be back in action at Horace Sisk Gymnasium on Tuesday to face another East Division opponent, Lenoir CC. Game time is 6 p.m.
