The Trojans traveled to Davidson-Davie Community College last Tuesday night to face the Storm. They are currently #1 in the nation for NJCAA DII Men’s Basketball. 

FTCC vs. Davidson-Davie: 99-113, Loss

The Trojans battled with the Storm all the way through the entire game. Both teams scored 55 points in the second half, but with the Storm’s 14 point lead at halftime determined the win. 

Te’Jon McDaniel-McCormick (Selina, KS) shot a season high for the Trojans with 27 points, he also had nine rebounds. Tristin Harkins (Fayetteville, NC) was not far behind with 25 points, eight rebounds and four steals. 

Xavier Whitaker (Rocky Mount, NC) came off the bench for 17 points and four rebounds. 

The Trojans will get another chance against the Storm in January at home.

The Trojans are on the road Wednesday when they head to Virginia for a 6:30pm start time against Patrick & Henry CC. Men’s Basketball is back at home on Sunday when they host Bryant & Stratton College at 4pm. All home games are free admission and played at Reid Ross Classical School: 3200 Ramsey Street.
