Volleyball traveled to Thomasville, North Carolina this past Saturday for two conference games. They played Guilford Tech and Davidson-Davie, coming out on top in both matches 3-0. The Trojans have improved to 11-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play. 

FTCC vs. Guilford Tech: 3-0, Win

The Trojans were in control from the start, not letting the Titans pass 16 points in any set.

Ella Ferrie (Stanchfield, MN) had eight kills for the Trojans on offense, five service aces and seven digs. Madi Harmon (Fayetteville, NC) had seven service aces with 14 assists. 

Bella Finelli (Pembroke, NC) added to her digs total gaining 10 in match one, while Gabby Walters (Salemburg, NC) added 14 assists.

FTCC vs. Davidson-Davie: 3-0, Win

The Storm gave a good fight in the first two sets, but the Trojans pulled far ahead in set three and never looked back to take their second win of the day. 

Rosa Harris (Irving, TX) had 12 of the Trojan’s 33 kills and three assisted blocks. Ferrie added nine more kills to her total for the day and Harmon had 16 assists. 

Kayloni Eddings (Pembroke, NC) had three assisted blocks and Finelli added 12 digs.

The Trojans are home this Wednesday and will play Southwest Virginia in a makeup conference game at 7pm. On Saturday, volleyball is hosting a conference pod in Horace Sisk gym and will play the 10am and 4pm games.
