This site is dedicated to assisting the New or returning student at FTCC. This webpage provides quick links to everything you will need to get started and be successful in your first term. In addition to accessing your admissions counselor, you can also access information and resources to help you get comfortable at FTCC.
The focus of Admissions Counseling is to promote student development and success by:
• Fostering the development of academic, career, and personal goals and plans
• Teaching students the College’s academic requirements, policies, and resources
• Fostering involvement with the curricular and co-curricular life of the College
• Helping students gain an appreciation for education and lifelong learning
Admissions Counselors in the Admissions office provide new students with important information related to their first semester at FTCC. This includes program requirements; curricular offerings; career selection; college policies, procedures, and regulations. New students may even get registered for their first semester or be introduced to their Academic Advisor. Counselors provide a one-on-one experience designed to get the new student off "on the right foot"!
Admissions Counselors are available to assist on a "walk-in' basis. To check availability, please go to the counselor's link above and send an email, or stop in at the Tony Rand Student Center. You may also call 910-678-8473 for assistance. The next step it to Click here to Get Started!
