logging into GROUPWISE webaccess |

- To navigate to GroupWise WebAccess you can enter the following URL in the Location or Address filed of your browser (i.e. Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox): https://groupwise.faytechcc.edu/gw/webacc

OR
From your FTCC HomePage (http://www.faytechcc.ecu), click "Groupwise WebAccess" under Quick Links in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- The WebAccess login page displays for you to enter your username and password. If you have an FTCC office PC with a GroupWise E-mail Client user account the login should be the same. Below are exceptions.
You will see the first login dialog box or if the "Settings" have been opened up you will see the second. When logging in from home, if you have dial-up service you will need to change the connection speed on the login screen to "Low" (dial-up) and check "Remember my settings". Leave on "High" for DSL, Road Runner or other broadband services.

IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS LOGGING IN:
- First, try entering your first and last name as it appears in the Novell/GroupWise Address Book and use the same password. Always try this if you are having a problem logging in as there may be someone at another community college with the same login but not necessarily the same name. If there is another user with the same login (i.e. doej) you must use your first and last name (i.e. Jane Doe) or follow the directions provided below.
- If someone ese has your same first and lastname then you will login with faytechpo.user-login (i.e. faytechpo, and use your same passord.
Click Login or press the Enter key to go into GroupWise.
Remember the password is case sensitive so be sure your caps lock key is not on.
