Ask A Librarian

Electronic reference service is offered to students, faculty and staff of FTCC. We also welcome your reference questions in person. If you have not used our electronic reference service before, please read the following information:

1. Questions will be answered in a timely fashion during our Monday through Friday work week. Please keep in mind that in-person assistance takes priority.

2. Please provide your student  identification number for verification and an email address so we may respond to your question.

3. This service is to answer quick, factual questions or to assist you in your search strategy, not to do in-depth research for you.

4.  If you are requesting  passwords for the electronic databases, please indicate the database for which you need a password, and  list  the classes you are taking for the current semester.  Passwords will only be issued if you are a currently enrolled student.
